Q. What is the maximum length I could use a Magnamole through? A. The handle and 2 extension rods will cover a maximum penetration of 85 cms Q. How do I carry an 85cm tool to every job site? A. The Maganamole handle and extension rods separately are no longer than 25.5cms long and so fit nicely into any tradesman's toolbox. Q. What if I want to thread Twin & Earth cable? Will the cap fit? A. Threading T & E is simple. All you need to do is strip the outer core and twist the cap onto one of the inner cables. Q. The minimum cap size is 3.7mm. What about threading thinner cables? A. To thread thinner cables such as fibre optic cables, simply fold the end of the wire in two and thread in the normal way. Q. What about cables thicker than 6.6mm? A. As with the T & E cables, just strip the outer core and attach the cap in the normal way. Q. What about when I'm working at first floor level? A. Once the hole is drilled and the Magnamole is in place, the fluorescent green tip can easily be seen on the outside of the property so you can see where to plant your ladders. Attach the cable with cap to the tip of the Magnamole and PUSH. You now have the cable inside the property and you've only climbed the ladder once. The fluorescent tip is equally effective in roof spaces and other areas of limited access such as the underside of portacabins etc. Q. A coat hanger is free and there are plenty of other ad hoc methods used for threading cables. Why should I buy a Magnamole? A. You can bang a nail in with a brick but everyone has a hammer. Magnamole is a tool designed with specific task in mind. The first time you try to thread around a corner, the tool will pay for itself. Magnamole turns a time-consuming and frustrating task into a 2 minute simple job. Q. Are the magnets strong enough to PULL a heavy cable through a cavity? A. Remember, this is a PUSH tool and not a PULL tool. The magnets are more than strong enough to maintain the connection on heavy cable if the tool is used in the correct way. Q. Where is the proof that Magnamole actually works? A. Whilst trying to prove the tool to the industry, Six Sigma trials were conducted over 3 locations using 30 engineers of various experience and service levels and across all threading scenarios.
